Discharge Characterization Upgrade
- Do you have an other than honorable or lower classification of discharge from the Armed Services? Has a significant amount of time passed since your discharge? Do you feel that your classification was unwarranted? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, we can work with you to try to improve your discharge characterization.
Apply for Veterans Benefits
- Did you just get out of the armed services? Confused by the VA Benefits system and need someone to help you through the process? Make an appointment with our office. The filing of the benefits is free and we will only get paid if we can improve your initial benefits determination.

Alienation of Affection
- In North Carolina, a third party can be sued if the plaintiff believes that the third parties actions were the reason for the plaintiffs marital relationship failing. At Hendley Law, we provide defense to those third parties.
Criminal Conversation
- In North Carolina, A third party can be sued if there is provable sexual activity between the third party and the plaintiff’s spouse. At Hendley Law, we will first argue against this unjust infringement upon you, the third parties rights, and then force the Plaintiff to prove their case in court.
Seduction
- Wrongful seduction occurs when a woman has sexual intercourse that was induced by deception, enticement, or other artifice. Simply put, if a man or other woman has tricked you into having sex, you could have a valid claim.
Breach of Promise to Marry
- You had prepared for the big day, only to find out that your partner has decided that they do not want to go through with the ceremony. If this happens you may be entitled to the money that you spent in preparation for the big day.

Housing Discrimination
- Being denied housing for who you are is horrific. It is also against the law. If you have been steered, denied showings, or other activity has been taken against you, you deserve someone who will fight for your rights. Contact our office to learn more.
Discrimination at Work
- Have you received discrimination at work because of your sexuality or gender identity? Did you just get fired and you think it was because of your sexuality or gender identity? In 2020, the supreme court determined that such action was unconstitutional. If you have been fired or face discrimination at work due to your identity, contact our office to see if you have a case.
Defamation
- Have you been accused of checks notes drinking baby’s blood or being accused of being a pedophile? While the First Amendment covers most speech, it does not cover all speech. Defamation occurs when a person or group publishes or speaks a comment about you to a third party. If someone has sullied your reputation or attacked you personally contact our office to know more.
